Good Morning! Yesterday we discussed the Caste System in India and did a simulation activity on it for our history class. Give me a recap of what we did and tell me what you think it would be like live in that society.
Brahmins: Priests
Kshatriya: Rules and Warriors
Vaishyas: Farmers, merchants, middle class
Shudras: Servants and farm workers
Dalits: Lowest status group possible
In our discussion we learned about how if you were the brahmins you were able to rule everybody. secondly the kshatriya could over rule others but if the priest (brahmins) said back off you needed to back off.i wouldn't like to be the others if i wasn't the the priest.

ReplyDeletethe funny thing I did yesterday was I was like a king telling Gary Colton and Jonah what to do but Colton didn't follow the rules so he died so yeah it was really fun.
ReplyDeleteYes, yesterday we did a a simulation activity involving the social classes people in India experience in the Caste System. We did experience the discrimination through out the social classes as well and had a great discussion on this. Good job you guys!
